These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vine (Eve AI), offered by RSC Studios("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our websites, mobile applications, or related services (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Vine (Eve AI) provides an interactive experience that includes chat with AI-driven biblical characters. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. AI-generated content & OpenAI

Responses are generated using artificial intelligence, including models provided by OpenAI (the same broad class of technology as ChatGPT). Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. It is not professional, medical, legal, or spiritual counseling, and it is not a substitute for reading scripture, licensed clergy, or other qualified guidance. You are responsible for how you interpret or use any content.

When you send messages, associated content may be transmitted to OpenAI (or other subprocessors we use) strictly to generate replies, as further described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is also subject to applicable third-party terms where required; see OpenAI's published policies for information relevant to their role.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. The Service is not intended for users under 13. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, or exploitative.
  • Attempt to access our systems, models, or data without authorization, or interfere with the Service.
  • Scrape, resell, or systematically extract the Service except as we expressly allow.
  • Misrepresent the output as human-written official doctrine or as coming from us when it does not.
  • Circumvent rate limits, abuse support channels, or overload infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to the Service or other users.

5. Your content

You retain rights to content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, and process your content solely to operate, improve, secure, and provide the Service (including sending portions to AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy). Do not submit information you are not allowed to share or that you consider highly sensitive if you are uncomfortable with processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, and our materials are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your contracting entity's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rules.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after notice may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
